•En este caso nos referiremos al intestino
medio
desde su punto de vista embriológico.
FORMACIÓN
•El intestino medio se extiende desde la
zona caudal al esbozo hepático hasta la
zona media del colon, está unido a la
pared abdominal posterior por el
mesenterio primitivo, siendo irrigado por
la
arteria mesentérica superior.
•Su crecimiento es
longitudinal y lo hace fuera de la
cavidad abdominal entre la
6° y9° semana.
• El rápido crecimiento y la expansión del
hígado
hacen que la cavidad abdominal se vuelva, de
manera transitoria,
demasiado pequeña para
contener a las asas intestinales.
